Chicken Noodle Soup
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, roasted and shredded
- 2 carrots, diced
- 1 medium onion-diced
- 3 stalks of celery-diced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon chicken base
- 32 oz. chicken stock
- 5 cups water
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
- 1 pound noodles of your choice
Instructions
Sauté veggies in oil along with the salt and pepper for 6-8 minutes. Add chicken and the rest of the ingredients plus 2 cups of water. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Add 3 cups of water and the noodles, cook the noodles according to package directions. Remove bay leaves before serving.
