FUZZY NAVEL CAKE

This is one of the cakes that was popular in the 1970’s. I still enjoy it today.  It reminds me of being with my kids and grandparents.

Ingredients

1-15 ounce can of chopped peaches,drained–save juice

1/2 cup Peach Schnapps

1/4 cup orange juice

1 cup sugar

1/3 cup liquid from drained peadhes

1 pkg yellow cake mix

1 small instant vanilla pudding

4 eggs

2/3 cup oil

1 cup chopped pecans

1 cup chopped peaches from above

Instructions

Combine first 4 ingredients in glass bowl, Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients making sure to mix well. Grease and flour a bundt pan. Pour into bundt pan and bake at 350* for 50-60 minutes.

After cake is slightly cooled, mix 1/4 cup peach liquid with 1-1/2 cup icing sugar that has been sifted. Pour over cake as a glaze.
